HK Gallery

‘Like a conventional curtain, the design creates separations and art niches throughout a large gallery space, granting zones for private interaction with the artwork.’

Starting as a facade-element, a white ribbon leads visitors into the gallery and guides them through the exhibition spaces. The steel curtain opens up with a grand gesture to connect visitors to the paintings and sculptures.

The curtain divides the space while maintaining transparency at the same time. Through the gaps of the vertical connectors, the visitors have a ready glimpse of the content of the next area.
