A breadstand for ‘The Doughery’ is openly set up in a shopping mall. The structure should close up during the night and open up during business hours when the fresh bread arrives from the neighbouring bakery.
We conceptualized literally a pup-up shop made of wooden platters that ressembles a cutting board. Each platter can rotate around center pole and fold up into the space to present the breads to costumers.
The doughery breadstand is assembled in a modular manner and can adapt to any given demand. If there is less bread to be presented, less platters fold up. In this way, the stand can adapt to different demands throughout the day.
